Our Mission is simple: “Make IT Happen.” It it not only our slogan, but our way of life. Here at Sublime Geek, when we want something to happen, when you want something to happen, it is not a matter of if, but when.
You notice that we capitalized the “IT.” We did this to not only show emphasis on whatever “IT” may be, but also to let you know that we focus on Information Technology.
We specialize in geek.
We’re upfront with you. If we think something won’t work, we let you know. If we think of a better idea, we let you know. If we suspect something, we let you know.
It’s a simple concept.
Sublime Geek acts with integrity. You can count on us to do the right thing, the right way, all the time.
We believe in the best service possible. We want you to be completely satisfied with us. That is why we believe in order to have a successful website, you need to love it. We want you to love it and if you don’t, we will go through great lengths to make sure we’ve met and exceeded your expectations.
When it comes to service, we have two goals:
- You leave with a smile.
- You learn something new.
It starts with a smile. It’s as simple as that. We want you to be happy and we believe that when you work with us, we should help you leave with a smile. We strive to go that extra mile to do so.
Technology can be complicated. We know this. You know this. This is why we believe that you should know about what we do. We strive to make sure you understand so you can make the best decisions.
There’s an old saying that you “get what you pay for”. We believe that in order for you to get the most out of your product, it’s not a matter of getting what you expect to get. It’s getting more than what you expect. We like to put our best foot forward and give you the best product for the money.
We believe in going the distance. We believe in not cutting corners. We want you to love it as much as we do!
We also believe in the best service in the galaxy. We treat you like a human. You will be treated like the awesome customer you are!
We love to Code
When I left the Air Force, that was the moment that I wanted to learn programming. I had worked your odd job here and there (mostly retail).
I had started to learn programming in Second Life. When Linden Labs, the creators of Second Life, enabled off-the-grid communications via HTTP, this was when I started to teach myself how to have my objects on the grid interact with PHP code on a server I controlled.
From there, I tinkered. The more I tinkered, the more I learned about various tricks and shortcuts to code faster and better. I learned about source code management software and functions. Before I knew it, I was making my own projects! That’s when it hit me! I could make projects that others could use (and hopefully profit from it).
Lately, I have been learning about Ruby on Rails, SASS, and the like. The learning never stops and neither does the fun!
aka The Irvins
Founded in October, 2008, Sublime Geek got its roots in the online virtual platform known as Second Life. From there, we took old concepts and made them new. What started as a hobby, as most businesses do, became much more.
Recently, we’ve expanded into business solutions by again, taking the old and making it new. We have taken on renovating websites, IT operations, as well as overall practices.
